Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical Semi-Automatic Pistol
Ruger’s Mark IV 22/45 elevates their Standard pistol platform by adding a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Without the use of tools, a recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and a higher potential for accuracy than conventional moving slide designs. A contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears ensure long-lasting and dependable operation. The accurate sighting system on the Ruger 22/45 consists of an adjustable rear sight and a fixed front blade.
The Ruger 22/45 Tactical model has picatinny rails on the top and bottom for attaching aftermarket optics and other tactical accessories. It also has a threaded barrel for attaching a suppressor. When applied, the ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the “SAFE” position. With the included washer, the safety can be converted to only work on the left side. When the magazine is removed, a magazine disconnect feature prevents discharge. When the magazine is released, it falls free for faster reloading.
