Hodgdon HS6 is a fine spherical, double-based propellant that is widely used in pistol and shotshell ammunition. In pistol, 9mm, 38 Super, 40 S&W, and 10mm Auto are among the cartridges where HS-6 excels. In shotshell HS-6, excellent heavy field loadings are produced in 10 ga., 12 ga., 20 ga., and even the efficient and effective 28 ga. HS-6 is an exceptional spherical propellant. The HS-6 is the same as the now-discontinued Winchester 540.
